User Agreement of the lib.ink Portal

This User Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the Agreement) regulates the relations between the administration of the lib.ink portal (hereinafter referred to as the Administration) and an individual (hereinafter referred to as the User) regarding the posting of advertisements, reviews, comments, and text messages (hereinafter referred to as the Materials) on the website located at https://lib.ink/ (hereinafter referred to as the Website), as well as during any other use of this website.

A User is considered to be any individual who has duly accepted this Agreement and posted one or more Materials on the Website. These rules are compiled in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine.

General Provisions

  1. The Administration determines the rules of conduct on the Website and has the right to demand compliance from all visitors.
  2. The text of the Agreement is presented to the User during registration. The Agreement enters into force after the User checks the "I accept the terms of the user agreement" box (or an equivalent indicator).
  3. Materials are accepted for publication only after the User has agreed to this Agreement.
  4. Ignorance of the rules does not exempt the User from the obligation to comply with them. Posting any material or comment on the Website automatically constitutes the User's full agreement with these rules.
  5. The Administration provides the User with the opportunity to post their Materials on the lib.ink portal free of charge.
  6. By posting Materials, the User grants the Administration a non-exclusive right to use them and to provide open access to them within the Website without any compensation.
  7. The User agrees that the Administration may display advertising banners, announcements, and other advertisements on pages containing their Materials, as well as technically modify the Materials for the proper rendering of advertisements.
  8. By registering or using the Website's services that require personal data, the User consents to the processing of their personal data in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection".
  9. Anyone who has registered with a unique nickname and a valid email address may use the interactive sections. Any visitor can comment on materials by specifying a name or pseudonym.
  10. The Administration uses the email addresses of registered users exclusively for official Website notifications (account activation/deactivation, etc.) and does not transfer them to third parties.
  11. All property and non-property rights to the posted Materials belong to the User who published them, unless proven otherwise. The User is liable for violations of copyright and related rights in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine. In the event of a justified claim by a copyright holder, the Materials will be removed within 3 business days.
  12. The User may request to deactivate their account by sending an email from their registered mailbox to the support team. Deactivation is a temporary suspension with the possibility of subsequent restoration.
  13. To restore an account, the User must contact [email protected] from the same email address that was used for registration.

Interactive Resources of the Website

Interactive sections (comments, announcements, reviews, etc.) are intended for exchanging opinions on the topics of publications. Users are permitted to create messages and comment on other users' materials, provided they comply with these Rules and the legislation of Ukraine.

Unsolicited (but not prohibited) messages that are irrelevant to the topic of discussion are discouraged.

The following are strictly prohibited on the Website:

  • Calls for violent change of the constitutional order, seizure of power, violation of the territorial integrity of Ukraine or any other country, riots, arson, aggression, or incitement of war.
  • Insults to anyone (users, politicians, journalists, etc.) based on national, racial, ethnic, religious, or other grounds, as well as chauvinistic statements.
  • Profanity, pornographic, or erotic content.
  • Trolling and provocations aimed at inciting conflicts.
  • Advertising, spam, and commercial proposals without the prior consent of the Administration.

  • Posting materials that violate copyrights, trademarks, patents, or contain viruses, malicious code, pyramid schemes, chain letters, etc.
  • Any actions that contradict the legislation of Ukraine.

Interactive sections are post-moderated: a moderator reviews messages after publication and has the right to remove any content that violates the rules.

Final Provisions

  1. The Administration may amend this Agreement by publishing the new version on the Website. The User is considered notified from the moment of publication.
  2. For systematic violations of the rules, the Administration may block the User's access to the Website.
  3. The Administration is not responsible for the content of user messages.
  4. Responsibility for the posted Materials lies entirely with the User who published them.
  5. The Administration is not liable for potential technical glitches, loss of data, or the quality of the services provided.
  6. In the event of claims by third parties regarding the Materials posted by the User, the User shall independently settle the dispute and compensate for any potential damages.
